25-ton motorhome legal on B license: 'Tricky in the EU'

A Swedish motorhome owner had to cancel a trip to Croatia after his vehicle was found to be overloaded by 475 kg. According to the registration certificate, the motorhome has a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg and a kerb weight of 3,080 kg, leaving 420 kg for fuel, passengers, luggage and water. The vehicle was not fully loaded: the tank contained only 20% diesel, 75% water, and no seasonal items. The overload exceeded 13.5%.

A multi-vehicle collision involving a motorhome and two cars occurred on road 34 near Målilla, Hultsfred municipality. The accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday in the northbound lane. One person was taken to hospital with reportedly minor injuries. The road is closed in both directions until 1:30 p.m. for rescue and recovery work; traffic is being diverted.

She works part-time and changes her parking spot daily, staying no more than two nights. She has no plans to return to her old life and hopes a future partner will embrace this lifestyle.
