The People's Party of Lanzarote will present a draft ordinance to the island's municipalities to regulate parking and overnight stays of motorhomes, caravans, and campervans. The aim is to organize parking, limit wild camping, and establish equipped areas with basic services (water, grey water disposal, waste management). The initiative responds to the growth of this type of tourism since the pandemic and the lack of uniform regulation among municipalities, which has caused pressure on various points of the island. The proposal is part of a regional plan to approve regulations for campsites and motorhome areas.
