Obstructive caravan to be removed from main Isle of Wight road

An investigation is underway after three static caravans were moved onto the protected Whitewall Common in Magor on April 8. The site is part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the activity may breach a High Court injunction obtained in February. Natural Resources Wales, Gwent Police and Monmouthshire County Council are conducting the investigation.

Caravans have pitched on land beside a road in North Watford, initiating a legal process to move them on. As of April 10, three caravans and a 4X4 were present on the site. Watford Borough Council and Hertfordshire Police stated they are working to resolve the situation through legal channels.
