West Sussex County Council will issue a notice requiring travellers to vacate an unauthorised caravan encampment on a green area in Bognor Regis. Around 15 caravans have been stationed there since 17 April.
Police are patrolling the site daily. After the notice is served, a court date will be scheduled under the standard procedure, and the council intends to seek a court order for eviction.
