Spain's General Directorate of Traffic has published new instruction PROT 2026/04, updating regulations for motorhomes and campers. Key changes involve technical inspection periods: category M motorhomes are exempt for the first four years, while category N campers must undergo it annually. Municipalities are empowered to restrict parking and prohibit camping on urban streets, and a new sign for wastewater disposal points has been added to the traffic sign catalog.
