Ten travellers have been found in contempt of court for continuing construction work at a caravan site near Sir Winston Churchill's former home in Kent, despite a court order prohibiting it. The group converted the land at Seasons Farm in Pootings into a caravan park within 48 hours last August. A High Court judge ruled that drainage pipes were added and trenches dug after a Dove order was served. Locals report intimidation, property damage, and horses breaking onto roads. A separate hearing will determine punishment.
