Traffic regulations for motorhomes and caravans

Dicot Designs has introduced the Mesa camper van based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, designed for remote travel. The vehicle features all-wheel drive, BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, an Apex Precision System for rapid tire pressure adjustment, and an Evictus pneumatic suspension kit. The fuel tank capacity has been increased to 170 liters, providing a range of approximately 1500 km, and the roof is equipped with a solar panel and a tent.

On March 17, the Toro City Council will officially reopen the renovated motorhome area. The site has capacity for 12 vehicles and features a digital payment system, automatic access, and an eco-sanitary point.

Tony (61) and Juanma (56) have been living for four years in a self-converted 5 m² camper van. They left urban stress behind, reporting improved health conditions, and travel across Spain without a fixed itinerary, using mobile apps to find parking spots.

Toyota has introduced the Proace Verso Camper van, developed in collaboration with Tinkervan. The model is available in four trim levels priced from €42,434 to €65,045 in the Spanish market and features diesel engines with 145 or 180 hp.

Manufacturers offer modular solutions to equip small campers with complete bathrooms. The designs feature retractable toilets and sinks that can be stowed away to create shower space. Examples of such systems are found in the Knaus Boxlife and Hymer DuoCar S models based on Fiat Ducato and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis respectively.

A new tourist campsite is planned in the parish of Borela, municipality of Cerdedo-Cotobade. The project, which has received environmental approval from the Galician government, will cover an area of 6,788 square meters and will include ten glamping tents and fifteen equipped pitches for motorhomes and caravans.
