Bulgaria's parliament gave final approval to amendments to the Insurance Code allowing liability insurance policies of at least 30 days for motorcycles, motorhomes and other vehicles not used year-round. The scope covers vehicles with temporary or transit registration, slow-moving road vehicles, self-propelled machines, category L vehicles, camping trailers and camping vehicles. Insurers will set prices for short-term policies. The amendments also address compensation when an insurer's licence is revoked: the Guarantee Fund may provide funds through the Security Fund, with payment deadlines of up to 7 and 15 days.
