Jesús Gallardo Ramírez, president of the Autonomous Motorhome Platform (P.A.C.A.), stated that the reform of the General Traffic Regulations does not change motorhome parking rules. He said viral news claiming motorhomes can now park like any other vehicle is false. The reform only specifies parking conditions (no protruding elements, use of chocks, no fluid discharge) but grants no new rights. Municipalities can still restrict motorhome parking via local ordinances, and the DGT does not override their authority.
