A 76-year-old man has been charged in court on Bornholm for driving a car with a towed caravan in a defective condition. The incident occurred on December 22 around 20:00 on Sverigesvej in Rønne, where the safety cable was incorrectly installed, posing a risk of the trailer detaching. The prosecution is demanding a fine and a conditional driving ban.

Since 2021, Denmark has abolished the requirement for a permanent residence for motorhome owners. Permanent residence in a motorhome is now possible upon obtaining a dispensation from the transport authority and having a contact address for official correspondence.
