Motorhome parking disputes: from Rhyl protests to Sussex legal action

Flexter, a mobility-tech platform, announced a supply partnership with Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental, part of the Arnold Clark Group. The agreement integrates Arnold Clark's rental fleet into Flexter's platform, providing users with real-time access to its LCV inventory. The fleet is expected to go live on Flexter's platform in early summer 2026. This partnership deepens Flexter's UK supply coverage and adds a nationally recognized brand to its partner network, which already includes Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, and others.

More than 40 caravans occupied Old Quarry Park in Barnes Hill, Birmingham, since Tuesday. Local residents expressed concern over potential disruption. Birmingham City Council stated it is taking steps to recover the land, noting that authorised sites are available for traveller communities.
