Operator of 56 holiday parks, Park Holidays UK, is to be sold to European management company Aermont. Current owner, US-based Sun Communities, expects the deal to close in the second half of 2026 pending approvals.

Inside, it includes foldable and removable Schnierle seats, a kitchen module with electric or gas hob options, water systems, and an auxiliary electrical system with a lithium battery and solar panel charging capability. The planning officer determined the change would not harm the area's visual appeal or residents' tranquillity, and the Highways Advisor raised no objection, noting no increased risk to highway safety. Strict conditions have been attached to the permission, including limiting use to caravan storage only.
