Spain's Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has updated regulations for motorhomes and converted vans. The new instruction introduces differentiated technical inspection (ITV) intervals: motorhomes must be inspected every two years after four years of use and annually after ten years; camper vans require annual inspections until ten years old, then every six months. Parking is allowed without deploying external elements, and parking remains legally distinct from camping. A new road sign (S-128) has been introduced to mark waste disposal points.
