Several consumer organisations and a camper owners' club have filed a class action lawsuit against Stellantis. The plaintiffs allege that diesel Fiat campers with Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines, produced from approximately 2009 to 2020, are equipped with software that manipulates emissions readings, causing them to exceed legal limits.
The organisations demand free repairs and compensation for the reduced value of the vehicles. In the summer of 2025, a court in Amsterdam already ruled that other Stellantis brands had sold vehicles with similar software in the Netherlands.
