Xiaomi has introduced a new subbrand, Sky Nomad, targeting the 'glamping' segment. The first model is the full-size N90 SUV with a hybrid powertrain (REV), where a 1.5-liter turbo engine is used only to recharge the batteries. The claimed all-electric range is up to 300 miles, with a combined range of over 900 miles. The vehicle features a soft roof tent, ADAS with lidar, air suspension, and rear-wheel steering.
According to spy photos published by Chinese bloggers on Weibo in April, the N90 is over 5.3 meters long with a wheelbase of about 3.1 meters. The powertrain is EREV: a 1.5-liter turbo engine paired with a battery of over 70 kWh, offering a range of up to 1500 km. The premiere is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Xiaomi is also forming the SKYNOMAD (Xuntian) subbrand for hybrid family SUVs. The lineup will include three Kunlun models (10, 20, 30) and the YU9 with a pop-up camper-style roof. Estimated prices range from 200,000 to 450,000 yuan (about 25,000–56,000 euros). SKYNOMAD will be positioned as a separate brand without the Xiaomi logo and will compete with Li Auto in the extended-range SUV segment.
