Xiaomi has unveiled the SkyNomad N90 Max Studio, a version of its luxury SUV with a factory-integrated electric pop-top roof. The roof raises interior height to 2,294 mm, allowing people up to 1.80 m tall to stand upright in the rear. The upper level offers a 2,110 by 985 mm area with a 1,946 mm-long bed and a 30 mm mattress rated for up to 200 kg. The lower seats convert into a 1.87 m by 1.24 m bed in about 30 seconds via electric motors. The powertrain is a range-extender hybrid with 310 kW (421 hp) and a 76 kWh battery; electric range is around 460 km (CLTC), combined range up to 1,705 km. In China, the N90 Max launched on 7 September 2026 at 269,900 yuan, while the Explorer Edition with the pop-top roof costs 299,900 yuan. Deliveries of the Studio version are to begin in China by the end of 2026; European availability is unconfirmed.
