In September 2026, new motorhome registrations in Germany fell by 30.8% year on year, according to the Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD). From January to September 2026, 57,890 new motorhomes were registered, 7.2% fewer than in the same period of 2025. New caravan registrations dropped by 4.8% to 15,396 units. In the third quarter of 2026, 14,037 motorhomes (down 22.2%) and 4,240 caravans (down 11.1%) were registered. The decline is attributed to a high September 2025 baseline and a continuing oversupply of vehicles at dealerships.
