Toyota has introduced the Proace Max Tanuki camper van, built on the Proace minibus platform. It features a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine with 140 or 180 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Two lengths are available: 6 and 6.5 meters. The living area includes a kitchen with gas burners, a refrigerator, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and two beds (a third optional). Equipment includes 20 mm insulation, a 100-liter fresh water tank, a gas heater, and a battery. Prices are not yet announced; warranty is 3 years or 100,000 km.
