Ucoga: what companies must check before renting motorhomes via digital platforms

Insurance broker Ucoga Asesores has stated that cover offered by motorhome rental platforms does not always apply to professional rental companies. The Yescapa platform insures peer-to-peer rentals and some self-employed owners, but companies registered as societies must hold their own policy that explicitly covers rental without a driver, on a comprehensive basis and with an excess. The broker also advises checking cover for bookings made outside the platform, excess amounts, indemnity limits, driver requirements and roadside assistance abroad.
