Toyota announced two models for road trips: the compact minivan Voxy Multi Utility (Modellista) for sleeping inside and the large camper Proace Verso Tanuki with a pop-up roof for Poland.

Toyota Voxy Multi Utility (Japan)

On April 10, 2026, Toyota unveiled the updated Voxy minivan, including a special Multi Utility (MU) version by Modellista, designed for overnight travel. The MU version, on sale from May 2026, features a two-row, five-seat layout with two interior transformation modes: cargo and sleeping. In sleep mode, the rear seats fold into a flat floor, allowing two adults to sleep with legs stretched out; it includes a 1500W outlet and LED lighting. The cargo area has a partition panel that supports up to 60 kg. The base price of the Voxy ranges from 3,751,000 to 4,380,200 yen.

Toyota Proace Verso Tanuki (Poland)

Earlier, in January 2026, Toyota Central Europe, together with converters AE Conversions and Escape Vans, created a special version of the Proace Verso camper for Poland called Tanuki. The motorhome, over 5.3 meters long, features a pop-up roof with a double bed, accommodating up to four adults. Standard equipment includes a Webasto heater (2 kW) and folding seats, with optional solar panels. The model is available with a diesel engine and manual or automatic transmission.

Poland proposes to exempt motorhomes and caravans from e-TOLL

A bill has been submitted to the Polish Sejm to amend the Public Roads Act, proposing to exempt motorhomes (over 3.5 t GVW) and passenger cars towing caravans from the e-TOLL system when used for individual tourism. Currently, such vehicles are treated as trucks and charged between PLN 0.34 and 0.80 per kilometer. The bill still needs to pass through the full legislative process, leaving little time before the 2026 summer holidays.
