Sunlight has presented the production version of the Ibex 4x4 off-road camper, built on the Volkswagen Crafter 4Motion. It is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 163 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Standard equipment includes an off-road package: raised air intake, LED light bar, 18-inch all-terrain tires, and an electric step. The camper is 6 meters long with an interior height of 198 cm. The sleeping area measures 200×136 cm. It features a shower, toilet, and a kitchen with two burners and a refrigerator.
Series production is scheduled to begin in August 2026, ahead of the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Prices have not been announced yet, but the current Sunlight range spans from 48,499 to 73,499 euros.
