RVRA Survey: RV Rental Demand Strong Heading Into Summer

A camper in Banff National Park, Canada, has been charged with two offences under the National Parks General Regulations and Camping Regulations after leaving food outside a tent in a bag marketed as bear-resistant. The incident occurred on August 4 at Rampart Creek Campground, where a bear took the food and later contacted the tent. A bear warning is in effect for the area, and multiple black bears have been sighted. Elsewhere in Banff, campgrounds near Lake Minnewanka were evacuated due to bears repeatedly ripping tents.

The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is hosting a webinar aimed at helping RV dealerships improve their parts departments. The session, led by fixed operations expert Sara Clements-Hey, president of Bob Clements International, will take place on Aug. 11 at 12 p.m. Central time.
