Camper van based on Sollers SF5 unveiled in Kolomna

A court in Irkutsk ordered a businessman to pay over 765,000 rubles to a buyer for delaying the production of a camper. The order was placed in autumn 2023 with a deadline of March 2024, but the finished module was delivered only at the end of August 2024, a delay of 157 days. The court awarded 500,000 rubles in penalties, 10,000 rubles for moral damages, and a 255,000 ruble fine for failing to meet demands voluntarily.

Sollers presented a motorhome based on the Sollers SF5 at the Camper Expo in Kolomna. The vehicle features a 150-hp diesel engine and automatic transmission. The living module accommodates four people, includes a kitchen, toilet, two main beds, and a combined heater with air conditioning. The model is undergoing certification, with sales expected by the end of 2026.

The Irkutsk Regional Court upheld a ruling to recover over 765,000 rubles from an individual entrepreneur for missing deadlines on a custom motorhome. The lower court's decision was affirmed.

ST Nizhegorodets (STANN brand) has announced the Verso motorhome built on the Sollers SF5 chassis. The model will premiere at the Camper Expo in Kolomna from May 29 to 31, 2026. It features a 2.7 L diesel engine (110 kW), automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. The body uses sandwich panels with extruded polystyrene foam. Inside, there are two sleeping areas (2000×1400 mm beds), a kitchen with a 140 L refrigerator, a separate bathroom with shower, and a power system with two solar panels (400 W) and a 200 Ah battery. Fresh water tank holds at least 100 L, gray water tank at least 80 L. Price on order is 6,150,000 RUB.

The author of the PRO AVTO channel (90,000 subscribers) presented a selection of budget cars suitable for living and traveling. The list includes Lada Largus, Renault Duster, and Volkswagen Caddy. The Largus features foldable rear seats and rear doors, the Duster offers high ground clearance and low fuel consumption (6–8 L), and the Caddy provides a large trunk, high ceiling, and a diesel engine (5 L/100 km). Ready-made camping solutions, including mosquito nets and slide-out kitchens, are available for the Caddy.

The Minty Fresh motorhome, based on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, has been introduced to the Russian market. The model accommodates a family of four and includes compartments for transporting sports equipment such as bicycles and kayaks. It features full sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and an autonomous power system. All-wheel drive and driver assistance systems provide off-road capability and safety.
