Slovenian company Podlunsek has presented the Revolux 2.5 living module for double-cab pickups. The kerb weight is 706 kg. The model is adapted for Mercedes X-Class, Volkswagen Amarok, Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara; for Ford F-150 and RAM, a Revolux 2.8 version is available.
Weight reduction is achieved through carbon fiber in the alcove, rear section, roof and bed base, while the sidewalls are made of fiberglass sandwich panels 30–50 mm thick. Inside, there is a 160×200 cm bed with an option to extend to 190 cm, a kitchen unit with stove and sink, a 92 L refrigerator, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a total storage volume of 80 L. Gas heating and all-season insulation allow winter use, lithium batteries and two 175 W solar panels provide up to 10–14 days of autonomous operation, and a Simarine Caravan panel monitors charge, water and temperature. The module is removable.
Prices range from 53,000 to 95,000 euros depending on configuration.
