Volkswagen has introduced a base version of the Multivan Camper in the UK, designed specifically for professional conversion into a camper by third-party companies. The vehicle comes with a pop-up roof and swiveling front seats, while the rear cargo area of 4053 liters is left empty — without rear seats or floor covering — allowing custom furniture installation.
Two powertrain options are available: a diesel engine and a plug-in hybrid with all-wheel drive. Base prices start at £52,680 for the diesel version and £60,870 for the all-wheel-drive hybrid. The cost of conversion is not included.
