The company Knott has developed a modular underbody panel for caravans to reduce aerodynamic drag. Tests with a Hobby trailer and a Skoda car showed a reduction in required traction force of 250 Newtons at 100 km/h. The plastic prototype weighs about 25 kg and can be installed by one person.
