CORIGON updates 2027 model range: more standard equipment and diesel heater

The Mittelsinn municipal council approved the construction of three motorhome parking spaces in the 'Flur' area. The decision was unanimous (7:0), with one council member abstaining due to personal involvement. The new spaces are expected to benefit both tourists and the local community.

A motorhome driver had to pay 18 euros for a half-hour stop at the Lühe-Anleger parking lot, as motorhomes are subject exclusively to a 24-hour tariff. The mayor of Grünendeich pointed to alternative parking sites, but those are marked with signs prohibiting motorhomes. The lot, operated by Mobility Hub since June, uses license plate scanners; non-payment results in a 56-euro penalty. No short-term tariff exists for motorhomes, unlike for cars.

Rocket Camper unveiled the One L camper van at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, based on a 5.99-meter Peugeot Boxer. Instead of a fixed bathroom, the van features a central furniture block with a pull-out chemical toilet and an external shower. The sleeping area measures 1.90 x 1.76 meters, optionally extendable to 2.21 meters, and folds up to create a rear garage with a load depth of 1.66 meters. The base price is 76,140 euros; options include a pop-up roof for 5,990 euros, an automatic transmission for 3,650 euros, and a 180-hp engine for 2,350 euros.

German company Sealander has introduced a hybrid of a towable camper and a motorboat that can be used on land and water. The 4.69 m long and 1.66 m wide trailer has a gross weight of 750 kg, allowing it to be towed by small cars with a standard driving license. The price starts at 39,750 euros excluding the engine and options. The trailer is certified as a category D boat under the CE standard and is intended for enclosed and sheltered waters with wind up to Beaufort force 4 and wave height up to 0.3 m. Standard equipment includes panoramic windows, a folding roof, a table and two benches that convert into a 205x151 cm bed; capacity is up to six people.

A motorhome suddenly rolled and got stuck at the edge of the quay at Schnackenburg harbor. The incident ended without serious consequences.

At the CARAVAN SALON trade fair in Düsseldorf, an official fan shop will open for the first time, offering T-shirts, hoodies, caps, towels, water bottles, thermal mugs, and cups. A plush mascot, a dog named Campi, will also be introduced. The fan shop will be located at three sites: the north entrance, Hall 12, and the outdoor area. After the show, items will be available via the online shop.
