Honda has unveiled a prototype of the compact Base Station camper in the US, intended for series production. According to one source, it is a lightweight van for four people, with no built-in kitchen or toilet, powered by solar panels and a lithium battery.
Another source describes the Base Station as a compact caravan compatible with mid-size crossovers such as the CR-V. The trailer, 2.1 meters high with a pop-up roof, accommodates up to four people and is equipped with a kitchen, shower, air conditioning, and solar panels. Currently, it is only a concept and not available for purchase.
