Firefighters from Irsingen, Türkheim, and Bad Wörishofen used breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras to quickly bring the situation under control. The cause is suspected to be a technical defect; damage assessment is ongoing.

During a border check in Freilassing, police stopped a camper van with an unusual load.
