Chinese company Manca has unveiled the Challenger expedition camper, built on a Sinotruk 4x4 truck chassis. The model features a hydraulically lifting roof section that forms a panoramic terrace with 360° views, a kitchen module and a sofa. According to some sources, the roof also includes a projection screen; others mention a barbecue kit as standard equipment.
Inside, the living module contains a kitchen, a bathroom with a Panasonic smart toilet, and sleeping space for four. Standard equipment includes climate control, heated floors and solar panels.
The base version is priced at around $170,000, while the top version exceeds $200,000.
