CATL and Weiertefen jointly presented the production motorhome Kaiyue Ningjie A68 at the CMS exhibition in Wuhan on June 17, 2026. The model is built on the new Xinlan chassis with a ONE BOX cab-over design, increasing usable space by 20% compared to traditional solutions.
The motorhome is equipped with a 68 kWh battery that charges from 20% to 80% in 18 minutes. Energy supply is supplemented by solar panels and a generator, ensuring "continuous" power. Dual-motor all-wheel drive delivers 270 kW, accelerating to 100 km/h in under 10 seconds. The interior living area is 4.2 meters long, and the water tank holds 285 liters.
The starting price is 468,000 yuan, with a purchase tax exemption for electric vehicles. The manufacturer claims a shift from modifying truck chassis to "native" motorhome development.
