JAPAN C.R.C. launches two summer camper deals

ROTT AUTO SENSE, a shop in Nakama, Fukuoka Prefecture, showcased its custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a parallel import. The vehicle, measuring 5900mm in length, 2020mm in width, and 2635mm in height, was modified for comfortable outdoor stays with the owner's dog. Enhancements include sound deadening, heat insulation, a portable refrigerator, and additional batteries. Owner Keisuke Nakazato previously used Toyota Alphard, Vellfire, HiAce, and Mercedes G-Class and V-Class, but none met his needs.

Aquaignis Sendai RV Park has opened in Sendai, offering 8 sites with power and Wi-Fi, access to the Fuzuka-no-yu onsen for 500 yen, and local cuisine. From 5000 yen per night.

Direct Cars, which presented six new models at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026, has introduced the NOMADOA light camper trailer. Measuring 3430 mm in length, 1570 mm in width and 1890 mm in height, the trailer requires no special driving license and is designed for towing by a compact SUV. It features a pop-up roof, a two-burner stove, a sink, a refrigerator and an optional lithium battery. Price starts at 2.69 million yen.

The Noto Peninsula is hosting the 'Pokemon Noto Meguri' tourism event, featuring stamp rallies, photo campaigns, and activities at Noto Satoyama Airport. MOBY has published an article on combining the event with overnight car camping, including recommended spots for parking and sleeping.

The Osaka Camper Fair 2026 will be held on October 24-25 at Intex Osaka. Over 50 builders and dealers will display about 250 vehicles, including kei campers, van conversions, coachbuilt motorhomes, and travel trailers. Admission: 800 yen (advance online) or 1200 yen (at the door) for adults, with discounts for children. Pet area and family activities are planned.

A new overnight parking facility for cars and campervans has opened on the rooftop of the Aguro Garden Kobe Komagabayashi home center in Nagata Ward. The site offers nine pitches with power hookups, restrooms, sinks, and water supply. Rates are 4,400 yen per pitch per night. A natural hot spring, Aguro no Yu, is located on the same premises.
