VANTourer (according to the Italian source, EuroCaravaning) will present the new Variobad 2.0 system at the Caravan Salon trade fair in Düsseldorf. The system allows expanding a compact side bathroom into a full room (according to the Italian source, into a full shower). A patent is expected (according to the Italian source, a patent application has been filed).
The system will be available on models 600 D and 630 L from December. It also serves as a partition between the living and sleeping areas. Equipment includes a 90-liter refrigerator, 40% more cargo space, and driver assistance systems per GSR II regulations (according to the Italian source, including automatic emergency braking and lane keeping).
