Turkish manufacturer Hotomobil presented the new generation Ronin XL 2027 at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The third-generation model has been fully redesigned while keeping compact dimensions: 5.6 meters long and 2.07 meters wide. It is built on Fiat Scudo, Opel Vivaro, or Citroën Jumpy bases (one source writes Citroen Jumpy) and features a monocoque fiberglass body.
The Ronin XL offers sleeping places for 3–4 people (one source says four), a full bathroom with shower, and a kitchen with a diesel stove. Equipment includes a 200 Ah lithium-ion battery, a 1000 W inverter, and a 205 W solar panel. A 2.2 MultiJet4 engine with 150 hp is available.
The permissible gross weight is 3100 kg, allowing driving with a standard category B license in Germany. The base price is €59,200, while the fully equipped show model costs €75,830.
