Polydrops P21X: off-road stealth caravan
Polydrops has unveiled the P21X caravan, designed for off-road use. The model features an angular body reminiscent of a stealth aircraft and 1300 W solar panels developed with Aptera. Ground clearance is 38 cm, with independent suspension and off-road tires. Curb weight is 950 kg, length 6.4 m. Inside, it sleeps four, with a compact kitchen (induction cooktop) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. It has a 5 kWh LFP battery (optional 10 kWh). US price starts at $76,900; production will be limited.
Colorado-based Supertramp Campers has introduced the Paragon motorhome on the Ford F-350 pickup. It is positioned as an alternative to the dominant Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The Paragon is available with a 7.3L V8 gasoline engine or a 6.7L Power Stroke diesel (500 hp, 1200 lb-ft torque). Standard features include a Super Queen bed, shower, induction cooktop, 130 L refrigerator, and an internal garage for two bicycles. Water capacity is 40 gallons fresh and 20 gallons gray. The electrical system uses lithium batteries up to 1080 Ah, charged by solar, DC-to-DC, and shore power. Price starts at $199,000.
Honda Base Station: prototype for cars
Honda has unveiled the Base Station caravan prototype, designed for towing by standard passenger cars. It features a king-size bed, bunk beds, kitchen, shower, air conditioning, and solar panels. Height with roof raised is 2.1 meters. Production timeline and pricing have not been announced.
