At the State Fair of West Virginia in Fairlea, camping on the fairgrounds has become a tradition for many attendees and vendors. James Scyphers said his family has been attending for over 60 years. Vendor Stephanie Stiffler noted that staying on-site is convenient due to long work hours. Fair CEO Kelly Collins also camps, using the time for relaxation and to assess improvements.
