Gordon Miller launches vanlife rental service in Tokyo and Oita

The DOD brand has introduced a 10 cm thick inflatable mattress for sleeping in a car. The mattress uses delta-structure polyurethane foam, allowing it to be compact when packed. It comes in three sizes, is adjustable for firmness, and is priced from 10,000 yen.

Japanese company Direct Cars presented the Nomadore motorhome based on the Suzuki Jimny at the Nagoya Camping Car Fair Spring exhibition. The 3.4-meter living module is designed as a trailer that can be towed by a low-power SUV and features a ramp for loading light motorcycles. The base price of the set is 2.69 million yen (approximately 1.3 million rubles).

The DA VINCI 6.0 model features a redesigned interior, a permanent bed measuring 1470 mm in width, and a new mattress system. The price of the exhibited unit with additional equipment was approximately 20.26 million yen.

The LOGOS brand has introduced a compact hanging fan to improve air circulation in vehicles during overnight stays. The 370-gram device operates for up to 10 hours on a full charge, features five speed settings and built-in warm lighting. The fan attaches with a carabiner to roof handles or nets without occupying cabin space.

A Japanese publication conducted the first tests of the electric motorhome moonn T-01 based on the HW Electro Elemo-L van. The 130 km trip and overnight stay revealed issues with safety, charging, and handling. Key shortcomings include lack of safety systems, maximum charging speed of 50 kW, range of 200-270 km, and a price starting from 11.05 million yen.
