Service expansion
From October 9, Lawson is introducing a motorhome overnight parking service at store parking lots in Gifu and Mie prefectures. The project is implemented jointly with Glory and the Japan RV Association (according to one source, the Japan Motorhome Association). In Gifu the service will appear at 4 stores, in Mie at 5, bringing the total number of locations to 37.
Details and plans
The cost is 2500–3000 yen per spot, payment by credit card only, with booking via a dedicated website. Check-in is from 15:00 to 22:00, check-out until 10:00. Since July 2025 the service was tested in Chiba, and since mid-July 2026 it operates at 28 stores in Chiba, Saitama, Shizuoka and Aichi. During Silver Week from September 19, more than half of the 28 stores had occupancy above 50%, and at 9 stores spots were booked for all four days except the last. By the end of October, launches are planned in Oita, Saga and Nagasaki, in November in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kagawa, Tokushima, Ehime, Kochi and Miyagi. By the end of the fiscal year, the service is planned to expand to about 70 stores, including Kyushu, Shikoku, Kanto and Tohoku.
