Ultralight caravan Coyot GT: can be towed even by a Škoda Fabia

The Czech company Caravanbox introduced the lightweight Coyot GT living structure, which is strapped to a standard trailer. The structure weighs 270 kg, allowing it to be towed by vehicles with low towing capacity, such as the Škoda Fabia 1.0 MPI. The base price starts at 127,050 Czech crowns, and due to its low weight, the product does not require an additional technical inspection.

TV program for 'Wir werden Camper'

Rüdiger and Petra Erbslöh bought their motorhome shortly after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. This year they are traveling through the Netherlands, visiting old Hanseatic cities such as Kampen and Deventer. In Kampen, they explore an old cigar factory where cigars are still hand-rolled. In Deventer, guide Truus claims her city is the most beautiful in the world. Along the North Sea coast, the couple encounters impressive sand art by world-record-holding couple Eugenia Kolot and Martin Tedder. At Petra van de Zande's restaurant, where people with disabilities work in service, they learn about differences between the Dutch and Germans. In Zaandam, they see various windmills and traditional wooden houses, and take a boat trip on the river Zaan to get an overview of one of Europe's first industrial areas. During a bike tour in Flevoland, they observe storks and young wild boars. For the retirees, camping is also a way to compare campsites and learn about new trends.

Mini camper with caravan nearly rolls into Nieuwe Merwede

On Sunday morning at Kop van 't Land, the driver of a mini camper with a caravan forgot to apply the handbrake when getting out. The vehicle rolled off the ferry ramp, hit a fence, and came to rest on the stones of the bank. A passenger and a dog jumped out in time. The driver was checked by ambulance staff, recovery took until after 11 a.m., and ferry service was suspended.
