According to industry statistics, 854 new motorhomes were registered in Sweden in April 2026, up 40% from 609 in April 2025. Over the first four months of 2026, motorhome registrations rose 61.6% to 1,887 units.
Some registrations in January-February were linked to meeting new exhaust emission standards, and those vehicles have not yet been sold to end consumers. The caravan market, by contrast, contracted: 215 trailers were registered in April (versus 248 a year earlier), and 363 since the start of the year, down 24.2%.
According to the association, demand for motorhomes remains high, while caravan buyers are more sensitive to economic uncertainty.
