RV Industry Executives Report Rising Consumer Demands for Quality and Transparency

The Washington County (Iowa) Board of Supervisors approved a developmental review, inspection and code enforcement agreement between the City of Riverside and Washington County for a Blackjack Beach RV & Water Resort project. The project includes more than 150 RV parking spots and a water park of over 70,000 square feet with water slides, a lazy river and pools. Construction will proceed after building inspection services review the site plan, with annexation expected to take about six months.

According to data from the InteractRV dealer network, which represents more than half of the RV market, dealerships gaining ground in 2026 are not those with the biggest ad budgets but those focusing on fundamentals. The top 10% of dealers generate 4.5 times more leads and turn inventory 54% faster than others. Key factors include transparent pricing, complete listings with photos, and quick response times, especially after hours when 54% of shoppers browse.
