At the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, Vöhringer, Motive Development and CityFreighter presented the EVOLVE electric motorhome concept based on a modular skateboard chassis. The prototype has a 128 kWh battery, a range of over 400 km, and DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes. Integrated solar panels are mounted on the roof. The total weight with furniture and equipment remains below 3.5 tonnes, aligning with the upcoming EU limit of 4.25 tonnes for category B. The battery is designed to be replaceable. Production and pricing have not been announced.
