EVs rarely used for caravan towing in the Netherlands

A conflict has arisen in the Luneven district of Boxmeer (Netherlands) over a motorhome over seven meters long parked on the owner's driveway. A neighbor filed a complaint with the municipality, claiming the vehicle spoils the street view and reduces quality of life. The owner insists on compliance with current regulations, which permit such parking. The municipality of Land van Cuijk found no violations after an inspection, but the complainant is calling for additional restrictions similar to those in other cities.

A brief but intense hailstorm caused extensive damage on Saturday afternoon at Camping De Bonte Kraai in Raamsdonk. Around 5:15 PM, the storm swept over the site, turning it into a white landscape in less than 15 minutes. Hailstones up to 2 centimeters in diameter pierced caravan roofs and awnings, leaving almost no tent standing. According to RTL Nieuws, the hail was accompanied by wind gusts of up to 60 km/h, and a yellow weather warning was in effect nationwide due to severe thunderstorms.
