Chinese manufacturer Lidu RV presented the five-metre Aquila 360 caravan at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The exhibited unit was priced at 38,000 euros, while in China the same model starts at 159,800 yuan. The roof and rear section open electrically, and the standard equipment includes an induction hob, a stainless steel sink, a portable toilet, a 31-litre water tank and a 314 Ah lithium battery. A slide-out outdoor kitchen with a 4.5 kW diesel cooker, a 50-litre fridge, a diesel heater, air conditioning and a solar panel are optional. The empty weight is 1,230 kg, but the maximum permissible weight has not been published, so towing with a car rated at up to 1,990 kg may require a B96 or B+E licence. The caravan is not yet on sale in the Czech Republic; importer Starlight B.V. lists the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia as its markets, with delivery taking 8 to 16 weeks.
