Carbon motorhome with all-wheel drive: Atlantis Carbon 4x4 to debut at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf

Carado has introduced the T335 Edition27, a semi-integrated motorhome with a non-standard layout. Instead of a rear bedroom, it features a large bathroom with wardrobe and garage access, a convertible lounge in the middle, and an electric drop-down bed that lowers to seat cushion height. The model includes a gas kitchen with a round sink and optional Thetford oven, plus modular storage in the rear garage. Exterior color is Moondust Silver with a Ford Trail grille.

Members of the “Chaos” camp at the Airbeat One festival in Neustadt-Glewe spend about 5,000 euros on their own campsite party. Each of the 70 members pays a 70-euro fee, covering over 50 parking tickets, a stage, sound equipment, and appliances. Organizer Ove Hansen says the group values the camping atmosphere more than the festival’s musical lineup.

Sunlight has unveiled the Ibex 406D, a 4x4 camper based on the Volkswagen Crafter 4Motion. It features a 163 hp diesel, full bathroom, kitchen, and a transverse bed. Price is expected to exceed €100,000.

European campsites enforce unusual regulations, compiled by ACSI. In Italy, 84% of inspected sites require swim caps due to local hygiene laws. In France, 1,044 out of 1,076 sites ban loose swim shorts, allowing only tight swimwear. Toilet paper is not provided at 18% of European campsites. Additionally, 80% of sites recommend advance booking for peak season.

Ahorn Camp has launched the Eclipse Edition of its CV 630 camper van based on the Renault Master. For an additional €3,490, the model features Pearl Black paint, 16-inch alloy wheels, silver graphics, and an interior with eco-leather upholstery and diamond stitching. Standard equipment includes the Safety Pack compliant with GSR-2 regulations, comprising speed assist, active emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and a rearview camera. In Welver, North Rhine-Westphalia, guests can stay overnight in a transparent bubble tent. This glamping option is available only there and in Düsseldorf within the state. Operator Christoph Plümpe shows the dome-shaped accommodation with a view of the starry sky.
