German company Smart Adventure GmbH has introduced the Vanyx camper van on a MAN TGE 3.180 4x4 chassis. The base price is €340,000, while a fully loaded version reaches $1.1 million. The key feature is a carbon-fiber roof with two double beds, developed with an aerospace company and the Fraunhofer Institute. All heavy components (water tanks, batteries) are mounted under the floor to lower the center of gravity. The vehicle is completely gas-free: heating from a Truma diesel heater, 800 W solar panel, 400 Ah LiFePO4 battery (expandable to 1,200 Ah), and a UV water filtration system. Curb weight is kept under 3.5 tonnes, allowing operation with a standard Class B license in Europe. Sales are direct from the factory in Ringsheim, with no dealer network. The model is not available in the US.

The park4night app for finding motorhome and camper van parking spots is available in a free basic version. The free version includes location search, reviews and photos, but displays ads and hides some details. The paid park4night+ subscription at €9.99 per year adds offline mode, satellite view, route planning and removes ads.

LMC introduced the Innovan Pure 600 based on the Citroën Jumper. The test revealed that at a starting price of €49,990, the campervan features soft-close drawers, an awning, and a flyscreen door as standard.
