Emergency toilet donation
Toy Factory (also referred to as Toi Factory), a camper manufacturer based in Kani, has donated five portable waterless Clesana toilets to Gifu Prefecture. The batch includes two C1 models (portable slim type) and three X1 models (compact type).
The toilets operate without water or chemicals: waste is hermetically sealed in film, preventing odors. They can run on a portable power source, making them suitable during power and water outages.
Governor Yoshihisa Esaki (also spelled Ezaki in one source) presented the company with a letter of appreciation. Similar Clesana units were previously used in the aftermath of the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.
