A motorhome caught fire while driving on Goethestraße in Wittenberge. The 50-year-old driver noticed smoke near the front axle at around 10.55, and the vehicle was soon fully ablaze. A gas cylinder inside the motorhome exploded during firefighting operations. No one was injured. Police estimated the material damage at around 5000 euros, and criminal police have opened an investigation into the cause.
