Accident with motorhome at Dortmund/Unna motorway junction: driver trapped

In Karlstadt, a man emptied the contents of a motorhome toilet into the Main river. The incident occurred on Monday evening and was observed by a swimmer who alerted the police. Officers identified a 71-year-old German national as the suspect; an investigation for water pollution has been initiated.

The municipality of Amt Neuhaus (Germany) is considering a project to create a new motorhome parking area in the Stapel district. Project initiator Thomas Frank presented the concept to the local tourism committee. Funding may come through the Leader program, requiring the municipality to determine its own contribution.
