On Friday afternoon on the A20 near Dummerstorf (Rostock district), a 66-year-old car driver collided with a motorhome driven by a 70-year-old man while merging from a parking lot onto the highway. Both drivers were injured, one seriously, and taken to hospital. Three ambulances, a helicopter, and four fire trucks responded. The road toward Lübeck was closed for one hour, then reopened with one lane; recovery work was completed by evening.
